In 2014 Nikki joined Engel & Völkers New York City as one of the first advisors when the office opened and has been acknowledged for sales accomplishments as part of the Engel & Völkers North America Elite Advisors Club since 2014. She’s often sought out to speak on panels at industry events and guest lecture at universities, has spoken at Inman Connect and other local,national and international conferences. She has been recognized as one of Inman News’ 100 List of Influential Real Estate Leaders and in 2017 was named on the Swanpoel Power 200 lists as one of the top 20 social influencers in real estate and is a long time contributing writer for Inman News
In addition to maintaining a thriving brokerage practice, Nikki believes in giving back to the communities in which she works, lives and plays.She is involved in various industry organizations,local,national and international, long time active member the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) where she serves on several committees ,and an active member of FIABCI ( International Real Estate Federation) at the local,national and international levels and is a long time member of the AREAA Greater New York chapter. She is also a member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing ®,having recently been part of the inaugural offering of a joint training & designation curriculum between the institute and AREAA.
Nikki has been quoted or appeared across a variety of print, television and online media including The New York Times ,CBS 2 New York, The Real Deal, Observer and other outlets.
In her spare time Nikki can be found out and about in New York City or traveling the world often behind the lens of her iPhone or DSLR whether it’s at the gym ,with her dog Bentley, or enjoying music, great food and wine with friends in New York and beyond. Giving back to the community extends beyond the professional real estate world, into the world in which we
live, where she is currently Vice President of Board of Directors of Musical Dream, previously serving as President (during her tenure the organization restructured its program and increased its funding via grants significantly),Secretary and Director of Fundraising. She also volunteers with several other non-profits, including Special Spectators, and Destination Imagination where she has been a challenge appraiser at the regional, state and international tournaments for over a decade. She is a classically trained pianist & clarinettist.An avid reader, she is one of the moderators of the NYC chapter of the Las Comadres National Book Club and has served on judging panels for the National Association of Hispanic Publishers Jose Marti- Awards and International Latino Book Awards .She is a past member of the Board of Directors for the East Harlem Little League, where she served for many years as their chief information officer. She has remained active with her alumni communities both at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and the Performing Arts, the ‘FAME’ high school, and at New York University where she was a member of the Young Alumni Leadership Circle.
