As the Executive Vice President of Citizens Bank, Ace Watanasuparp has exceeded expectations by expanding into new markets and capturing unprecedented market share in purchase financing as well as refinancing. His reputation has allowed him to attract talented loan officers within every region we service. After graduating from the University of Connecticut in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance, Watanasuparp began his mortgage industry career as a loan officer with Citibank in Queens. By 2005, he was ranked the sixth highest producer in the United States for a total funded volume of $189 million. That same year, he enrolled in New York University’s School of Law.

In 2006, Watanasuparp was recruited to grow market share for Bank of America in Queens as a Branch Manager. Under his leadership, he recruited 23 diverse loan officers in just 8 months and by 2008 his branch was tied with Manhattan for the #1 office in the Northeast Region.

From 2009- 2012 Ace served as an Area Sales Manager for Wells Fargo, and successfully worked to fulfil the residential financing needs for the real estate community, covering markets from Manhattan to Montauk.

From 2012-2015 Ace took on the role of President of Douglas Elliman’s lending arm, formerly known as DE Capital, where he oversaw The state of New York and Florida working directly with Dottie Herman and Howard Lorber..

A native New Yorker of Thai and Taiwanese ancestry, Watanasuparp became the first Asian-American in the University of Connecticut’s history to “walk on” to the prestigious men’s basketball team. As a child, he worked with his parents in their restaurant business, and went on to found the Chace Restaurant Group, a full-service marketing, branding, and design group for the restaurant industry.
